A little sampling of the film images that I took on Jason & Julia’s wedding day. Jason and Julia are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and were kind enough to let me tinker around with my Contax 645 throughout the day. It was my first time shooting with film during a wedding and I’m so thrilled with the results!

Shivan & Charith are seriously amongst my most awesome-est clients ever. I LOVED working with them, and it was a huge thrill for me to be a part of such a dazzling wedding. I love experiencing other cultures through whatever way I can. Through food, traveling, and especially through wedding ceremonies. And the colors and symbolism in Shivan and Charith’s wedding totally blew me away. My jaw dropped to the floor when I first walked in an saw Shivan in her stunning sari. I. Want. One.
I’m finally getting around to posting some of last year’s weddings (bad blogger, I know!) and I’m so happy to share this beautiful wedding with you all.
Shivan told me nonchalantly that her henna tattoos didn’t take too long, just two hours. Two hours! But they’re so gorgeous aren’t they?

Sweet capture of their day. Someday I would love to capture an Indian wedding. Their customs, colors, and everything are unique. Nice job though.
