Indivisible: The Wedding Give-Back Project Benefitting the ACLU

I’m so excited today to be sharing a project that I’ve been working on for the past few weeks with Kaella of Kaella Lynn Events and alongside an incredible group of talented wedding industry friends.

We invite you to be married, celebrate your union, and support civil and equal rights in the process with this completely non-profit offering.

ACLU Wedding donation

As individuals, creatives and business owners in the wedding industry, we believe in celebrating love in ALL its many forms. We know that everyone has their own unique love story that speaks to their personal journey and there are many who may have had to face adversity along the way. Love is the common thread that binds us all together. Love sees beyond our differences.

We have been inspired to help tell those diverse and perhaps less represented love stories. We want to share and celebrate YOUR unique story and also give back in the process. We’ve teamed up with an amazing group of top wedding industry professionals to offer a luxury Elopement Wedding Experience valued at over $15,000 at an exclusive discounted rate of $6,000, with 100% of the proceeds to be donated to the American Civil Liberties Union.

Enter by submitting your unique and diverse love story to info@kaellalynnevents.com with the subject line, “Indivisible Elopement Submission”

The luxury elopement package will include:

A morning ceremony at
San Francisco City Hall followed by a beautifully curated celebration with up to 8 guests at a nearby location.

Personal flowers for the couple along with flowers for the table setting by Amanda Vidmar Design

A Champagne toast

Cake by Pretty Please Bakeshop

Furniture by One True Love Vintage

Tabletop rentals by Frances Lane

Last fall, I had the chance to photography this beautiful editorial shoot at beautiful Holman Ranch in Carmel for a workshop with Magnolia Rouge Magazine. Type A Society designed a shoot meant to evoke Jane Austen, sisterhood and a kindred spirit. I loved getting the chance to shoot something a bit different from my normal wedding work with a shoot that focused more on sisterly bond. Plus the Jane Austen fan in me adored all the details in this shoot.

Romantic European Garden Wedding Shoot // St. Vincent’s School for Boys

I’m so thrilled to be able to share this wonderful wedding shoot with you all today. St. Vincent’s School for Boys is a sprawling campus in the North Bay that has some of the most beautiful pathways and stonework I’ve seen in the Bay Area. It reminded me so much of Italy that I knew right away that I wanted to do a European inspired photo shoot here. I worked together with some seriously talented ladies to bring this shoot alive. This wonderful shoot has already been featured on one of my favorite wedding blogs, Once Wed and now I’m thrilled to be sharing the full shoot here as well.

Coordination and Design: Sealed with a Kiss Events | Florist: Gavita Flora | Hair & Makeup: Julie Dy | Paper Goods & Calligraphy: Rosie Calligraphy | Dresses provided from Lovely Bride SF & Leanne Marshall | Cast Images & City Images | Venue: St. Vincent School for Boys | Linens: La Tavola | Rentals: Standard Party Rentals

The Twins make Four

On April 14th 2014 we welcomed into this world our beautiful twins, Leo Alexander and Eleanor Valentine. Our lives have completely turned upside down and it’s the most amazing thing in the world. Just wanted to share a little of my family here on the blog as I get ready to return to get back into the swing of wedding season. If you follow me on Instagram (hannahsuhphoto) you may have seen these photos and lots more. And yes, I have become a Mom who shares a million cute photos of her kids. I can’t help it, I think they’re very very cute!

Maternity Leave + Email Problems

emailissues
Hello lovely blog readers! As some of you might know from my facebook and instagram, 8 weeks ago I welcomed my beautiful twin babies into the world! I’ll be sharing some images here of my twins in the next few days (and you can check them out on my instagram as well: @hannahsuhphoto) but I wanted to drop a quick note to say that I am still on maternity leave until July. I *will* be accepting small elopements, engagement sessions and portrait sessions during this time and of course, I am still booking weddings for the fall and winter of 2014 and weddings for next year as well. So if you are interested in setting up a shoot or inquiring for a wedding, please send me an email at info@hannahsuh.com

Speaking of emails, unfortunately for the past 10 days or so, I have had email delivery issues with my web server that have only just been resolved. There’s no way for me to know how many emails I may have missed out on, but if you emailed me recently and I haven’t responded back, please accept my apologies! And feel free to re-send your email. I hope to hear from you – again!
