Bay Area Engagement Photography – Jenn & Steve

I love it so much when couples really bring out their own personalities in their engagement shoots. Jenn and Steve really wanted to bring their love of football into their photo shoot and we had a lot of fun running around a local park in Piedmont.

Steve actually proposed to Jenn after he got Steve Young from the 49ners (Jenn’s favorite team) to come to her class (Jenn is a teacher) and present her with an autographed jersey. How incredible is that?

As the sun started to set, we headed off to UC Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science to finish off the session with some gorgeous views of the East Bay.

Sausalito Photo Shoot – Part II

Outfit change! As promised, here’s another look at the photo shoot from Sausalito a few weeks back. I absolutely loved each and every outfit that Jamie and Soheil had for this shoot. And they went from old school charming in the last blog post to deliciously glamorous in this one. A few people stopped and asked if they were movie stars, and don’t they just like like they stepped off a Hollywood set?

Instax Fun

While in Seoul, my Aunt got me a Fuji Instax Mini camera and I fell in love with these pint size little polaroids that this camera would spit out.

south korea instax mini

Some of my favorite photos from the trip came from the Instax. The thing I always loved about Polaroids and what I love about these cute little mini instax photos is the singularity of each photo. Makes them seem all the more precious.

Full blog post on my trip coming soon!

Ted - I thought about experimenting with instant cameras during my weddings…get a few here and there or have my second shooter take those shots.
I do like them!

December 16, 2009 - 2:08 AM

Lloyd - Hey Hannah, Ted. I’ve tried snapping a few shots at my weddings here in London, using the iPhone. There are some great Apps for simulating the ‘instant’ photo’ look and I’ve played around. Not quite at the stage where I would present them to a bride yet though.
